M.A. / M.Sc. in Forensic Science

Objective : The two years Distance Learning Master of Arts (M.A) / Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Forensic Science conducted at the Indian Institute of Applied Psychology has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of forensic activities, resources and programmes, forensic psychology, psychiatry, anthropology, entomology, pathology, odontology, toxicology besides information and digital forensics, forensic technologies, forensic nursing and forensic labs, photonic solutions and forensic laws.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline Duration : Two years

Award : Master of Arts / Master of Science in Forensic Science shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will also be eligible for admission in the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes in the relevant Schools and Faculties at The Global Open University, Nagaland

Total Fee : Rs. 24,125

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft “Indian Institute of Applied Psychology” payable at New Delhi must reach the Director, Indian Institute of Applied Psychology, A 15, Paryavaran Complex, South of Saket, New Delhi - 110030 by registered / speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 150 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations.

Study Materials : The Identity Card and the Set of Study Materials will be despatched to the admitted students within a month from the date of receipt of completed applications along with other documents and the fee.


Assignments : All admitted students are required to submit assignments in the form of mini project reports for each subject based on the contents of study materials and the data collected by them on the particular subject.
